Alisha was born on the 8 of May 2007. I can honestly say "It was the happiest day of my life" I just think she is the most perfect little human being ever and i cant believe she's mine.

The pregnancy was very difficult for me. From the time i found i was pregnant i was really scarred. It was unplanned and i had always had a fear of the responsiblity of having a child. I realised at about 8th weeks of pregnancy, when i started bleeding, that actually i really wanted to have this child. It was only when the possibility of loosing her was there that i had this realisation. I thank God that it all worked out in the end.

I was plagued with pain(back, hips, and sacrum) for most of my pregnancy and saw a physio regularly. I could not wait for it all to end. Looking back now i feel i should have made more of an effort to enjoy it. It all became such a reality for me the day she was born. i could not wait to meet her. She was born at 16h08 and weighed 3.7kg. She was beautiful and i was a mom.
